“on ne nait pas femme, on le devient.”
(One is not born a woman, one becomes one)
Simone de Beauvoir

I am a licensed clinical social worker with experiences across residential, outpatient, and academic settings. At Mind Therapy Clinic I served as Director of Social Work and Assistant Director of Training while providing psychotherapy, supervising clinicians, and supporting program development. I advise graduate students at Smith College as a Practicum Adviser where I also work as an adjunct faculty member. I am licensed in California, Massachusetts, Washington D.C., and New Mexico. I bring a collaborative, trauma-informed, and solution-focused approach to client care.

Previously, I served as the Assistant Clinical Director and primary therapist at Bayside Marin. I specialized in assessing individuals for eating disorders and treating those with Borderline Personality Disorder.

My personal values include integrity, authenticity, empathy, diversity, equity, inclusion, humor, education, and humility. I use a Health at Every Size framework and an anti-diet approach. I value Womanist, Feminist, and Eco-Womanist perspectives in my work, along with disability justice, gender-affirming care, and anti-racist practice. My work is informed by scholars such as Sand Chang, Sabrina Strings, and Morales (Kindling). I also integrate art and nature into my work, and I am currently pursuing a doctorate with advanced training in supervision and eating disorders.

I believe all bodies of all shapes and sizes have value. I am committed to fat liberation movements and prioritize authentic therapeutic relationships, offering dedication and collaboration in every client’s journey.

My clinical work is informed by professional training and lived experience. I have always worked with marginalized communities, including people of color, LGBTQIA individuals, and those living with disabilities. Licensed in California and Massachusetts, it is an honor and privilege to be on this journey with you.

I work with individuals who include:

  • People of color and LGBTQIA individuals struggling with eating disorders, substance use, self-harm, trauma, and Borderline Personality Disorder
  • Attorneys, athletes, perinatal and postpartum clients
  • Women and individuals with neurodiversity
  • People experiencing chronic pain, unexplained pain, autoimmune issues, or hormonal conditions such as PCOS and endometriosis

My clinical philosophy centers on serving marginalized groups and practicing from an anti-oppressive framework. I do not pathologize and never blame clients for their suffering. My integrative approach draws from Inner Child and Parts Work, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Seeking Safety, Mindful Self-Compassion, trauma-focused treatment, Narrative Therapy, EMDR, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Feminist and Social Justice frameworks, as well as Womanism, Black Feminism, and Eco-Womanism.
